Silver Lining

Last Thursday, a group of us got fully anecdotal, sharing personal stories where a tough life experience led to a silver lining.  Loss brought celebration.  Tough scenarios that weren't going to change created the decision to accept.

No matter what the story, we all found ways in our experiences to become richer in our thoughts and understanding of loss and compromise.

I feel so lucky to be part of these intimate and honest dialogues where I see pain, but also how we are all dealing with it in real time.  Thank you the Rare Moms I have met for believing in this space to share and trust.

For the others who are reading this, here's an assignment we worked on during our workshop to ponder about control.

How much happier could you be if you focused your energy solely on what you can control?

What can you control?

What is something you expend energy on that is not in your control?

Feel free to share below and in a few days, I'll post the home assignment that we'll discuss in our next workshop, which takes place on Thursday at 11AM PST.  Here's the link to register.
