Community Connection

We took a deeper dive into attachment theory in our Rare Mothers in Relationships Workshop this past week. Some of what we explored: How can we best love the people around us? What is running our responses from behind the curtain? It can all be traced back to our early years of life.

The Conversation is Important

We talked about attachment styles and reflected on ourselves and the people in our lives. And, what we keep discovering is that the true purpose of this workshop is for Rare Mothers to connect with each other. After all, it is about relationships and these connections are magical. What if you could talk to a Rare Mother who was much further down the road than you are? What if you could draw from the wisdom she has gleaned over the many years of raising her own Rare children?

The context for these conversations is not as important as the conversations themselves.

The exchanges that happen are so valuable and often Rare mothers remind each other of what it is they truly need, which is community, companionship, and an invitation to care for themselves.

Self-Care is Essential

One of the Rare Mothers in our group was reminded of the value of prioritizing herself. How it is important to take walks and sit still in silence for a few minutes. These moments of alone time are few and far between for most Rare mothers, and they are possible. You are worth it. You deserve to receive the gift of your own loving attention.

Join Us for a Conversation About:  How to Strengthen Your We

Come join us and be received with an open heart. We meet every Tuesday morning at 10 AM Pacific time. This Tuesday we will enter into the conversation of how to strengthen your We. In relationships, it's important to tend to the We which is the sum total of You and Me. Each person must take care of themselves as well as the relationship itself if you want to thrive rather than be drained. You will leave with practical tools that you can immediately apply in your life.

Register here.

Timing

I’m also curious if you would like to come and for various reasons, the timing doesn’t work for you. Please send me a message and let me know if there is a better time for you. I'd love to offer this workshop at a time that works for YOU.
