Are you a Rare Young Adult interested in creative storytelling?

ANGEL AID is hosting a small group workshop for Young Adults (ages 18-40) diagnosed with a Narcolepsy. Selected participants will learn the art of animation, character design, settings and storytelling from professionals and artists-in-training at CreativeCave. Applications closed.

Workshop will run from November 8-December 13, 2021. Meetings hosted via ZOOM on Mondays @ 5-6:15pm PST (plus optional 15 min Q&A)

Master the necessary skills and tools needed to create your own story with rare disease ~ including characters, drawings, environments, dialogue and of course jokes!

During this wellness course, you will draw your own cartoon characters and apply character design and visual storytelling techniques with experts. Each participant will create and design their own hardcover graphic novella booklet that showcases your story with rare disease. Participants get to keep and print more of their booklets at home, as well as share through digital channels just in time for holiday gifts.

Join us during this fun adventure of creativity and self discovery!

You don’t need any previous experience or skill in drawing or designing. You just need to show up with a good, positive attitude and a desire to learn and unlock your creative spirit.

Applications Closed November 1, 2021!
